Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a robot of the type having a wide range of applications and suited for executing even fully complex operations (e.g. assembly and disassembly operations) as rapidly as for other operations.

CONSTITUTION: An articulated robot has an arm 2 and two forearms 10, 11 which are articulated to the arm 2 about the same axis 9 and controlled by an independent drive means.
