PURPOSE: To obtain a mounting structure simple in structure and used for mounting the control section of a vehicle-mounted electric/electronic equipment keeping it optional in position, horizontal, facing upward, or facing downward, and separate from an equipment main section by a method wherein the equipment main section and the control section of a vehicle-mounted electric/electronic equipment are formed into units which can be separated from each other, and a mounting section which fixes the equipment main section with a thumbscrew sandwiching it is provided.
CONSTITUTION: A mounting section 3 is provided to an equipment main section 1, and a long heart-shaped mounting hole 5 is provided to the mounting section 3. Engaging projections A and B are provided protruding inwards, the mounting section 3 is provided to the lateral sides of the front surface of the equipment main section 1 so as to sandwich a control section 2, and a threaded hole 7 where a thumbscrew 6 is screwed in through the intermediary of the mounting hole 5 provided to the mounting section 3 is provided to the control section 2. Engaging recessed parts a1, (a2), b1, and (b2) engaged with the engaging projections A and B of the equipment main section 1 are provided. As mentioned above, when the positions of the engaging projections A and B and the engaging parts a1, (a2), b1, and (b2) and a positional relation between the mounting hole 5 and the threaded hole 7 of the control section 2 are determined, the control section 2 can be stably fixed even if its control surface is changed in direction.
