Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cylinder liner which improves strength without increasing weight and rupture of a corner part between a cylinder and a flange part.

CONSTITUTION: A cylinder liner 1 comprises a cylinder part 2 and a flange part 3 formed to the end part of the cylinder part 2. A recess part 4 is formed in a corner part between the cylinder part 2 and the flange part 3 by rotary plastic processing.
