PURPOSE: To unnecessitate a flexible board to reduce connecting parts and to simplify connecting work by providing connected structure in which signal wires for connecting a display part and a circuit for driving the display part arranged in one line do not cross.
CONSTITUTION: Display parts 1a-1p are divided into first and second areas L and R, a first scanning wire 7 from an IC chip 4 for driving is connected to the first area L and a second scanning wire 6 is connected to the second area R respectively. Then, the first and second areas L and R are further bisected and defined as 1st-4th sub-areas S1-S4, the first signal wire 7 from the IC chip 4 is connected from one side of a display part line to the 1st sub- area S1, and the second signal wire 8 is connected from the other side to the 4th sub-area S4. Then, the 1st and 3rd sub-areas S1 and S3 are connected from the same side as the second signal wire 8 by a 3rd signal wire 9, and the 2nd and 4th sub-areas S2 and S4 are connected from the same side as the 1st signal wire 7 by a 4th signal wire 10. Therefore, any one of 1st-4th signal wires does not cross. Thus, the IC chip 4 is arranged on the substrate of display parts 1a-1p and both of them can be connected by the wiring formed on that substrate.
