Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the blocking of the gap between a rotating screen and a pedestal by dust in a separator for pneumatically separating waste.
CONSTITUTION: Air from a compressor 27 is fed into the gap between the upper circular frame 7 of a rotating screen 5 and the undersurface of a pedestal 15. supporting the rotating shaft 8 of the screen 5 in the body 12 of a separator. The air is fed at a constant rate through a pipe 26 and a venthole 25.
