Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter in which missing of charging data is prevented even on the occurrence of a power failure when the capacity of a memory backup battery is small. SOLUTION: A voltage monitor section 18 monitors a residual capacity of a battery 16 backing up a RAM 14 storing charging data and when the residual capacity of the battery 16 is sufficient, data are sent to a center 20 after awaiting the length of the data reaching a maximum data length sent by a cost of a basic call unit, and when the residual capacity of the battery 16 is small, data are sent to the center 20 with a short data length. When the residual capacity reaches a capacity at which battery backup is not warranted, the data are sent every time charging data are produced.
