Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a DRAW type compact disk having a high C/N by using org. coloring matter as the material of a recording layer.

CONSTITUTION: A recording layer 2, a reflecting metal layer 3 and a protective layer 4 are successively laminated on a transparent resin substrate 1 to obtain an optical information recording medium. The recording layer 2 is formed by spin coating with phthalocyanine type org. coloring matter dissolved in an org. solvent and the thickness of the layer 2 is 130nm. The reflecting metal layer 3 is formed by depositing Al90Ti10 (atomic%) by RF sputtering and the thickness of the layer 3 is 50nm. The protective layer 4 is made of photosetting resin, etc., Al in the layer 3 has about 500-2,000 grain size distribution and about 1,500 average grain size. Au may be used in place of Al in the layer 3.
