Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a pile textile which is flexible, abration-resistant at the back side and which prevents the edge from warping upward and suitable for a tile curpet or a mat laid down on a car floor.
CONSTITUTION: A pile textile 17 is a triple-ply structure composed of a pile material 11, a dried paint 12 of emulsion resin applied at the rear face thereof, and a backing member 13 superimposed on the painted film. The backing member 13 is constituted by covering both front and back sides of core sheet 14 with a foaming vinyl chloride resin 15. The foaming vinyl chloride resin 15 is heat-melted on the emulsion resin film 12 and the bubbles 16 formed in the inside of the foamed vinyl chloride resin 15 are pressed to crush to make dense the resin 15.
