Abstract:

PURPOSE: To protect the cathode layer in a solid electrolytic capacitor against delamination and crack causing deterioration of electrical conduction under high temperature, high humidity, high pressure conditions.

CONSTITUTION: A dielectric oxide film layer 4, a manganese dioxide layer 5, a manganese diode layer 6 containing graphite powder, a graphite layer 7a (or a graphite layer 7b containing palladium), and a silver paste layer 8a (or a nickel plating layer 8b) are formed sequentially on an anode body 1 of valve function metal planted with an anode lead 2 to constitute a solid electrolytic capacitor in which the cathode layer is protected against crack and delamination.
