PURPOSE: To efficiently reduce hydraulic pulsation generated in a power unit of a hydraulic elevator, to improve safety and driving comfortability and to miniaturize a hydraulic elevator system by furnishing a gas sealed type pulsation vibration absorber.

CONSTITUTION: A jack is provided on a ramp, a plunger 4 is engaged with this jack, by using a flow rate control valve 14 and a hydraulic pump 12, oil in a tank 10 is let in and out of the jack and the plunger is elevated, and a cage 5 is elevated. In this system of a hydraulic elevator, between the hydraulic pump 12 and the flow rate control valve 14, a gas sealed type pulsation vibration absorber 18 is set, and pressure pulsation generated by the flow rate control valve 14 is reduced. Consequently, it is possible to improve safety and driving comfortability and to improve the space efficiency and working efficiency to carry in the machine room equipments by way of miniaturizing the hydraulic elevator system.
