Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a metal sheet capable of being enamel coated without requiring pretreatment of the metal and generating any defects.
CONSTITUTION: The metal sheet enamelled with two layers is produced by coating the sheet with a polymer suspension before forming. Successively, the metal sheet is dried, formed and coated with an enamel frit. The sheet is fired at a temp. of 560-850°C. The binder in the polymer suspension is preferably a material which burns completely at melting and stoving temp.
