Abstract:

PURPOSE:To provide a polyacetal resin material improved in sliding properties, i.e., resistance to abrasion and wear during long-term use, and in rotational torque stability, stickslip phenomenon (torque stick), etc., and which can be used, e.g., for miniaturizing felt clutch mechanism parts or increasing tape speed. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polyacetal resin, 1-15 pts.wt. spindle-shaped calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of 0.1-10mum, and 0.05-10 pts.wt. fatty acid ester obtained from a 5-32C fatty acid and a 2-30C mono- or polyhydric alcohol.
