Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly rigid polypropylene foam which does not need the use of any reinforcement.
CONSTITUTION: A cross-linking polypropylene and/or an acrylonitrile/butadiene/ styrene resin is incorporated into a polypropylene to impart rigidity to the polypropylene matrix and raise the melt viscosity to thereby give a fine and uniform foam structure.
