PURPOSE: To obtain a neutral detergent composition having 60-90wt.% high a concentration of surfactant and capable of keeping a relatively high viscosity even when diluted to ordinary concentration used.
CONSTITUTION: This detergent composition contains 50-75wt.% of surfactant component composed of a straight-chain alkylbenzene sulfonic acid sodium salt in an amount of 10-45wt.% based on total amount of the composition and a fatty acid alkanol amide in an amount of 5-60wt.% based on total amount of the composition, 8-18wt.% of a viscosity-reducing agent component composed of at least kind one among ethanol, propylene glycol and polyethylene glycol and 0-10wt.% of a viscosity-controlling agent component composed of at least one kind of betaine type amphoteric surfactant and controls an amount of the viscosity reducing agent and an amount of the viscosity controlling agent so that the viscosity at 25°C is ≤1000cP and a viscosity at 25°C of an aqueous solution of the component diluted so as to give 15wt.% of the surfactant component becomes 70-400cP. A nonionic surfactant may be added to the detergent composition.
