PURPOSE: To provide the coating method for obtaining coated products having excellent durability and design characteristics.

CONSTITUTION: A fluoresin electrodeposition coating material formed by using a fluorine-contained polymer as an essential component and incorporating at least 10wt.% of coating film forming components therein is applied by electrodeposition coating on an Al or Al alloy blank material formed with an anodized film as a pretreatment and a coating film is further formed on this coating film by coating and baking. The beautiful appearance of the coating film is formed and the performance well balanced in the physical and chemical properties, such as weatherability and chemical resistance, can be exhibited. In addition, a desired gloss or matted effect having feeling is obtd.
