Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a navigation system for loading on a car which guides a car to an optimum root including the by-pass and the path desired by a driver and excluding a road with high jamming frequency and to an optimum root at the place in the case the car deviated the guided root. CONSTITUTION:The title system is constituted of an operation part 1A to set desired by-pass, paths and a destination point, a system controller 11 to memorize the destination point and the paths on a coordinates and contain the by-pass and jamming road information in RAM 14, a path extraction part 6A to extract optimum root among a plurality of paths referred by a path retrieval part 5A based on the output from the RAM 14 and a path guide controller 17 to calculate the deviation distance from the extracted optimum root to the present position given by a present position calculator 7A. If the deviation distance is over a predetermined value, the system calculator 11 directs the path retrieval part 5A the restart of calculation.
