Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keep the output constant within the operating temperature range by eliminating the effect of the outside air temperature on a detection section.
CONSTITUTION: A heat insulating material 31a and a heat ray absorbing filter 32 are fitted to the condensing lens 25a of a projection optical system radiating the light to the flow cell of a fluorescence detector 15a, and the heat conduction from a light source 23 to a flow cell block 24a is cut off. The flow cell block 24a is covered with a heat insulating material 31b to keep it at the proper temperature, a detection section is not affected by the outside air temperature, the output change of the fluorescence intensity of a trihalomethane analyzer under the operating temperature condition (10 to 40°C) is made very small, and a constant output can be invariably measured in the stable state.
