Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve steering performance by effecting correction according to a steering state through fuzzy inference.
CONSTITUTION: Fuzzy inference is performed by means of steering torque, a car speed, a steering angular velocity, and a steering angular acceleration, all serving as an input parameter according to a given fuzzy rule, and an inertia compensation gain Ka and a viscous compensation gain Kv are computed. An inertia compensation value and a viscous compensation value are respectively corrected by means of an inertia compensation gain and a viscous compensation gain. Thus, a gain is corrected through fuzzy inference according to a steering state and steering performance is improved.
