Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure insulation between the primary and the secondary with a single isolator, by transmitting power off to the primary, using a signal fed back to the primary by a photocoupler, when either a shut down signal or a remote control signal instructs the power off.
SOLUTION: A part 50 for protection from an overcurrent generates a signal for protection from an overcurrent, when the voltage of main output gets over the second reference voltage Vref2 An on-off circuit 60 outputs high potential or common potential, according to the remote control signal to designate the on/off of the power. A shut down latch circuit 70 outputs a shut down signal when the signal for protection from overvoltage of a part 50 for protection from overvoltage shows the overvoltage condition. A shutdown execution part 80 keeps the input voltage of a photocoupler PC at the voltage to deter the lighting, when either the remote control signal of the on/off circuit 60 designates the power off or the shutdown signal of the shutdown latch circuit 70 is effective.
