PURPOSE: To obtain the subject resin good in dispersibility, flowability and blocking resistance by adding a coagulant and an organic liquid slightly soluble in water and not dissolving the resin to the water dispersion of the vinyl chloride resin for processing into pastes to separate the resin from the aqueous phase.

CONSTITUTION: The production of this vinyl chloride resin improved in its dispersibility in media, improved in the flowability of sols and in the physical properties of molded products, and preventing its blocking when dried comprises allowing the aqueous dispersion of the vinyl chloride resin for processing into pastes to pass through a screen on which a metal net having a mesh of 250μm is preliminarily spread, adding water to the passed aqueous dispersion to adjust the solid content of the dispersion to a concentration of 35wt.%, charging the dispersion together with the aqueous solution of a coagulant such as poly aluminum chloride into a tank type stirring device, and subsequently adding an organic liquid such as diisopropyl phthalate slightly soluble in water and not dissolving or swelling the vinyl chloride with stirring to separate the vinyl chloride as its aggregates, thereby eliminating the vinyl chloride resin in a recovery rate of ≥98%.
