Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize multi-layered forming material showing high resistance to permeation of gases by a method wherein the multi-layered forming material is produced by dispersing dessicant particles, the diameter of each of which is specified, under finely divided particle state, in the matrix of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer.

CONSTITUTION: Dryer must be dispersed in the matrix of EVOH in the form of finely divided particles. The mean diameter of cubical area of dessicant particle having its major axis of 10μm or more must be 30μm or less, favorably 25μm or less and the most favorably 20μm or less. As the EVOH matrix, two or more EVOH-based resins different in composition may well be used. Colorant such as pigment, dye or the like, and additive such as antistatic agent, ultraviolet absorbing agent, plasticizer, heat stabilizer, lubricant or the like may wall be added as long as no effect is impaired by them.
