Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the total cost of a panel for cable connector and make the use to a panel with different thickness possible by reducing both of the cost of components and the number of components, and producing a fastening fixture capable of reducing the labor for fixing the components. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector panel 11 is integrally formed with a self- fastening type fastening fixture 17 for holding the distance, capable of passing through a fixing hole of the panel 11 from the inside. The fastening fixture 17 has a knurled head having the size from which a metal around a D-shaped cut-out hole formed in the panel 11 is not projected. The head of the fastening fixture 17 is made flush with the inner surface of the panel 11 to which a socket 13 of a cable connector is fixed. By this structure, even if the thickness of the panel 11 is varied, the length between the flange of a cable plug 19 for fitting and the socket 13 is made constant, and use to many different devices is made possible without adjusting the length of a distance holding component 27.
