Abstract:
PURPOSE: To design a furnishings support means so that a table is adjusted to a readily usable position near a bed and that when not used the table is returned to an out-of-the-way position.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of support arms 8 is rotatably mounted via a raising member 7 in a guide groove 6 provided in the pole 5 of a furnishings storage system located near a bed, and a table 9 is mounted on the ends of the pair of support arms 8 with a regulating arm 10 of a predetermined length provided between the middle of the guide groove 6 and one of the pair of support arms 8, and the pair of support arms 8 is displaced under the restraining action of the regulating arm 10, to move the raising member 7 vertically along the guide groove 6 so as to move the table 9 to different positions. Near the bed, the table on which to place furnishings such as a TV can be moved to a readily usable position and when not used returned to an out-of-the--way position.
