Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately reproduce an original image while action compensation is performed. CONSTITUTION:When image data (decoded image data) outputted from an adder circuit 4 are an I picture or a P picture, after this is delayed only for the time corresponding to the action compensation by a buffer memory 21, it is alternately stored into a pair of buffer memories 7 and 8. From the I picture or the P picture before one stored in a buffer memory 8, by using the image data of the I picture or the P picture of further one stored in a buffer memory 7, the new image data stored in the buffer memory 7 are decoded.
