PURPOSE: To provide the offering stand for a household Buddhist altar, in which a color pattern applied on the side face of its stand and leg is executed with good workability.

CONSTITUTION: In the offering stand for a household Buddhist altar, to a stand 1 of which formed in a shape of a vessel, a leg 2 which in inclined so as to become gradually a larger diameter toward the lower end, and also, formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, is attached, and also, on the side face of the leg 2, a hollowed-out pattern 4 is provided, and moreover, gold-painting is performed to the side face of the stand 1 and the leg 2, as for the hollowed-out pattern 4, by aligning the outside peripheral edge with wall thickness of the leg 2, the surface of the leg 2 is enlarged, and also, formed into an inclined surface 5 so as to become small in the inside surface of the leg 2, and the hollowed-out pattern 4 is sealed temporarily to the same surface as the surface of the leg 2 by a stopper body formed in the same shape. On the other hand, desired color patterns 9, 10 are printed on a water soluble transfer paper 8, and by sticking the water soluble transfer paper 8 to the respective gold-painted surface of the leg 2 and extruding the stopper body from the inside of the leg 2, a part of the water soluble transfer paper 8 is detached and formed in accordance with the hollowed-out pattern 4.
