Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent contamination caused by condensation of organic solvent from occurring to the inside of the apparatus while preventing organic solvent vapor from diffusing to the outside of the apparatus by liquefying scavenged organic solvent vapor, and by making the liquefied vapor trapped.

CONSTITUTION: Vaporization of solvent is made in a way wherein a heater 2 is provided in a transfer medium 8, and component constituting solvent in ink is vaporized out of inked images when the transfer medium 8 is turned in the direction A. The solvent vapor evaporated by operation of the heater 2 is scavenged by a fan 3 and is sent to a cooler 4. The solvent vapor is liquefied by the solvent cooler 4. Then, the liquefied solvent is trapped in a trap 5. The vapor is then discharged outside as clean air that does not contain the solvent.
