Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a hot water feeder capable of preventing reliably and readily the supply of hot water having a high temperature in the case where water in a hot water feed path is heated to a high temperature in a heat exchanger by remaining fire and the like.
CONSTITUTION: In a hot water feeder 1 which feeds hot water via a hot water feed path 5 passing through a heat exchanger 4, a heat-responding valve 22 is provided in the hot water feed path 5 on the downstream side of the heat exchanger 4. The heat-responding valve 22 has a freely openable valve proper which is operated to be opened or closed by a valve driving part made of a shape memory alloy which is thermally deformed according to a hot water temperature in the position of the valve driving part. The valve driving part is thermally deformed to operate the valve proper to its closing position when a hot water temperature in the hot water feed path is a predetermined level or above.
