PURPOSE: To effectively form a pleated pattern free from the deterioration of a coating film by forming a surface coating layer by blending a polyamide resin particle and a polyacrylonitrile resin particle to a binder of a thermosetting resin.
CONSTITUTION: The surface coating layer 2 having 5-30μm average dry thickness is formed by coating and baking a coating material obtained by blending 1-30 pts.wt. polyamide resin particle 3 having 10-80μm average particle diameter and 1-50 pts.wt. polyacrylonitrile resin particle 4 having 10-80μm average particle diameter to 100 pts.wt. binder of the thermosetting resin on the surface treated metallic sheet. As a result, the pleated pattern is excellently revealed and formed on the outer surface of the surface coating film and a decorative metallic sheet improved in soiling resistance or scratch resistance is obtained.
