Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a heating control method for a microwave range or a electronic cooking appliance in which cooking can be performed at optimum condition by sensing the level of sound being produced from a pressure container upon exhausting vapor therefrom using a sonic sensor.
CONSTITUTION: When cooking is performed using a pressure container producing a sound upon exhausting vapor therefrom after installing a sonic sensor as a sound sensing means, cooking is performed automatically while controlling the heating 21, 22, 23 based on the level of sound sensed by the sonic sensor 16. Cooking is ended when two conditions are satisfied for both the sonic sensor 16 and a temperature sensor 18. To avoid mis-operation due to noise from a fan motor FM, a turntable T.T.M. and a magnetron 24, operation thereof is stopped temporarily and then sonic level is sensed again and the heating control is performed based on the sensed sonic level.
