Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic dual-circuit brake system for a road vehicle capable of discharging a brake fluid into a brake circuit of a front axle, and controlling the quantity of the brake fluid both in the normal braking operation and in the automatic control braking operation.
CONSTITUTION: This hydraulic dual-circuit brake system 10 is provided with an anti-lock system working on the recirculation principle, a device for driving dynamics control, and a device for the automatic initiation of full braking when the driver actuates a brake pedal at a speed higher than a relevant threshold value, and further provided with a pedal position sensor 21 and a pressure sensor to generate the electric output signal to indicate the brake pressure supplied to the brake circuit of a front axle.
