Title:
ELECTRIC RICE COOKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0739453
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve thermal efficiency and to quickly cook to be tasty by using glass which transmits an electromagnetic wave of far-infrared radiation in an inner pot, using such a heat source for generating an electromagnetic wave as a halogen lamp, a xenon lamp or the like in a heater, and forming a space between the heater and the inner pot.

CONSTITUTION: An inner pot 13 is supported by an inner pan 14 provided inside a main body 15, and formed by glass which transmits an electromagnetic wave of far-infrared radiation and a visible light ray. A heater 11 uses a heat source which generates a visible light ray and an electromagnetic wave such as a halogen lamp, a xenon lamp or the like, and is disposed through a transmit plate 12 of the bottom of the inner pot 14. A visible light ray and an electromagnetic wave generated from the heater 11 are passed through the transmit plate 12, and reflected by the inner pan 14 to directly irradiate rice and water in the inner pot 13 evenly. Thus, the thermal efficiency can be improved and tasty cooked rice can be quickly obtained.
