Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a ball polishing machine fit for polishing balls formed of high hardness material such as ceramics, especially silicon nitride.
CONSTITUTION: In a ball polishing machine provided with a fixed plate 11 and a plate rotary grinding wheel 12, the fixed plate 11 facing the plate rotary grinding wheel 12 with its inner face formed into a plane is provided with a ball rolling spiral guide 13, a ball feed-in inlet led through the fixed plate 11 on the inner most side of the spiral guide 13, and a discharge outlet 15 on the outermost side of the spiral guide 13, and balls discharged from the discharge outlet 15 is circulated and supplied from the ball feed-in inlet 14.
