PURPOSE: To increase storage capacity for a storage article by bearing a shelf body at such two points as allowing the travel thereof on a horizontal plane, and keeping the travel locus of the two points rotatable with the shelf body sliding in a direction other than a backward direction.
CONSTITUTION: A shelf body 1 has a bottom plate 13 supported on runners 6 and 7 movable along rails 4 and 5. A distance between the runners 6 and 7 is always constant and, therefore, the runner 6 travels forward along the linear rail 4. Also, the runner 7 necessarily travels along the curved rail 5 toward the center from one end thereof. When the shelf body 1, after rotated 90 degrees and subsequent arrival at a position immediately behind the rail 4, is further rotated, one runner 6 reversely travels along the linear rail 4 in a backward direction. Furthermore, the other runner 7 travels along the curved rail 5 from the center to the other end thereof. As a result, the shelf body 1 rotates 180 degrees, while mainly giving a reciprocal slide motion forward. According to this construction, a rear rotational area can be reduced, and the shelf body l does not need to have small breadth, thereby increasing storage capacity for a storage article.
