Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0667443
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve mobility in an electrophotographic org. photosensitive body without increasing the concn. of charge transfer material, and to obtain an element having excellent repetition stability and environmental durability.

CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive body has a charge transfer layer containing at least two kinds of charge transfer materials showing ≤0.1V difference of oxidation potential. The oxidation potential is regarded as the conductive level of holes, so that if the levels are apart from each other, the hopping site is determined according to the concn. proportion of plural components and the number of traps increases to decrease the mobility. If the levels are near, interaction is caused between levels and each level acts as the hopping site to increase the mobility. Thereby, the obtd. photosensitive body can be used for a fast printer, and has excellent environmental durability with small temp. dependence of the carrier conductivity.
