PURPOSE: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material with high whiteness and excellent image storing property.

CONSTITUTION: In a heat-sensitive recording material wherein an undercoat layer is provided between a carrier and a heat-sensitive color-developing layer, and in some cases, an overcoat layer is provided on the heat-sensitive color- developing layer, 4,4'-bis(1-aziridinocarbonylamino)diphenylmethane is incorporated in at least one layer among the heat-sensitive color-developing layer and the undercoat layer or the overcoat layer.
