Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an extrusion equipment for producing the tread ply of a road vehicle tire.
CONSTITUTION: The device concerned is an extruder consisting of an extrusion head equipped with a large number of formed plates 9, 10, 11 and 12, which are piled up and clamped together with a clamping mechanism 3. The mechanism 3 is located outside the extrusion head 2 and actuated round the extrusion head so as to determine, releasable annular mechanism. Further, the extruder 1 is equipped with automatic releasing mechanism 4, which separates the contoured plates 9, 10, 11 and 12 from one another when the annular mechanism 3 is released.
