Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device structure which can be used as the power source of a small motor, especially a small machine, which can be controlled electrostatically.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 5 is moved in a direction which is parallel to a substrate 1 by utilizing each repulsion force generated by injecting a same type of electric charge between the rotor 5 and a floating electrode 6 which is placed below it. A control electrode 7 is provided below the floating electrode 6 and the distribution of the electric charge of the floating electrode is change by changing the voltage of the control electrode.
