Abstract:

PURPOSE: To operate a safety device such as an air bag or the like at a suitable time corresponding to the magnitude of a shock at the time of a collision.

CONSTITUTION: An output signal from a G sensor is integrated by integrating circuits S4, S6. When it is determined that the addition value C of integrated values exceeds a designated determination value in a determining circuit S8, a safety device is operated. The determination level, that is, a designated reference value is gradually increased as the time elapses.
