Abstract:

PURPOSE:To make arranging and editing easier without attaching an index label by providing a printing device constituted of a printing head and an ink ribbon on the back part of a video cassette and printing a date, time, the title of a photographing content, etc. CONSTITUTION:The character signal of the data and the title of the date of photographing, time, etc., is generated inside the camera, superimposed with a video signal, displayed on a screen and recorded on a tape. And at the same time, the character signals of them are sent to a printing head operation circuit and the printing device constituted of a printing head 1 and an ink ribbon 2 provided on the back part of a cassette case attached to the inside of the deck is operated. By this operation, the above-mentioned date, the time and the title are printed on a part for attaching an index label at the back surface of a case 4. Thus, without attaching the index label, the arranging and the editing are made easier.
