PURPOSE: To improve the rate of automation for work in which the web tip of an old raw fabric roll is connected to the web end of an on a web delivery line, in the case of a web splice device.

CONSTITUTION: A web splice device 40 is provided with a tape sticking device 57 which conducts at a boundary portion between an end suction box 41 and a tip suction box 42 the sticking processing of an adhesive tape in regard to the web end of an old raw fabric roll 2A which is made movable in the width direction of a web 1 and cut off by means of a cutting-off device and sucked into the end suction box 41, and the confronting portion of the web tip of a new raw fabric roll 2B which is cut off by means of the cutting-off device and sucked into the tip suction box 42.
