PURPOSE: To draw up and fix a caisson die frame without using any crane.
CONSTITUTION: Between adjacent those of die frames 2, 3, 4 surrounding four surfaces of a concrete caisson to be produced, a rack 16 is vertically laid in the vicinity of one side end part of one of the adjacent die frames. A motor 18 having a pinion 17 adapted to be meshed with the lack 6 is provided in the vicinity of one side end part of the other one 3 of the adjacent die frames. The fixing of the die-frames for opposite two of the four surfaces, to the concrete body is released at first, and are parted from the concrete body 1. They are then moved inward so as to cause the pinion 17 to mesh with the rack 16. Then, the motor 18 is rotated to raise the die frames for the two surfaces up to a predetermined height, and thereafter, the meshing between the pinion 17 and the rack 16 are released. These two die frames are secured to the concrete body at predetermined positions. Then, the fixing of the remainder two die frames 3, 4 is released, and the die frames 3, 4 are raised and fixed in a similar manner.
