PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a resin composition which can protect physically the chemical weakness of a polyamide resin with a polyolefinic polymer at the time of blending the polyamide resin and the polyolefinic polymer by causing the blend to have a structure in which the polyamide resin constitutes a matrix, to reflect the excellent characteristics of the polyamide resin on its mechanical properties, and when the polyolefinic polymer is present in excess of the polyamide resin, to have the domain portion, that is exposed mainly on the surface, composed of the polyolefinic polymer.

CONSTITUTION: In the production of a resin composition comprising a polyamide resin A, a polyolefinic polymer B and a compatibilizer C, components A to C are kneaded under the conditions that the melt viscosity of the mixture of components A and C is 1/3 or less of the melt viscosity of components B at the same temperature and the same shear rate in the same kneader, so that component A may become a matrix and component B a domain.
