Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a DC-DC converter with a power MOS FET for switching on the primary side of a boosting transformer.
CONSTITUTION: This DC-DC converter converts primary voltage into secondary voltage through a boosting transformer 1 by turning on/off a d.c. power supply 6 on the primary side. The converter then rectifies the obtained voltage and provides it as a power supply. In the converter a power MOS FET 18 is used as the switching element on the primary side, and exciting energy of the transformer 1 is used as driving energy for the power MOS FET.
