Title:
DETECTOR EMPLOYING TRANSMITTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3046791
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection due to noise by providing a monostable circuit delivering an output to be sustained in a time shorter than the normal conduction or interruption time of a transmitter but longer than the noise generation time thereof.
SOLUTION: The gas meter is provided with a rotary magnet piece of permanent magnet which turns while making angular displacement every time when a specified quantity of gas is used. A transmitter RSW 2 comprising two reed switches IS disposed closely to the rotary magnet piece and the switching mode is changed every time when a specified quantity of gas is used. Output from the transmitter RSW 2 is delivered to detection pulse generating circuits 7, 8. In response to the output from the transmitter RSW 2, a monostable circuit disposed thereat delivers an output sustaining shorter than the normal conduction or interruption time of the transmitter RSW 2 but longer than the noise generation time thereof. Since a detection pulse is not generated when a pulse of short duration is mixed, erroneous detection can be avoided.
