Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the burden for an operator by obviating the need of confirming the feed of a tape shaped member by a certain length free from distorsion, in a tape shaped member feeding device used in a belt loop sewing machine.
CONSTITUTION: A tape existence detecting sensor 21 consisting of an optical sensor is installed on the extension part 220 of a movable type lower guide 213 for guiding a tape shaped member T to a material bending unit, and the top edge of the tape shaped member T is detected.
