PURPOSE: To obtain a molded decorative material with a granite pattern or the like, which is made of a single gelcoat layer with a good performance, such as a resistance to heat and water, in a laminate structure in which a gelcoat layer as a surface layer and a rear surface reinforcing layer made of a fiber-reinforced plastic are laminated as basic components.

CONSTITUTION: A title material is composed of a surface gelcoat layer made of two or more kinds of gelcoat resins 2, 3 and a rear surface reinforcing layer made of a fiber-reinforced plastic 4. In an area of 1 to 50% of the surface gelcoat layer, an optical density per unit area is 1.0 or less, and in all the surface gelcoat layer, a total optical density per unit area is 2.0 or more. In this way, the fiber-reinforced plastic layer on the rear side cannot be seen through the surface gelcoat resin layer. A design of a natural granite pattern with a deep feeling can be realized using a single gelcoat layer without deteriorating performances, such as a resistance to heat and water and a resistance to chemicals.
