Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep a stable combustion state of a swirl type incineration furnace and facilitate its maintenance work by a method wherein when sludge or industrial waste sludge caused by a sewage processing are made stable, a roller mill having no classification by air power is used in a crusher for crushing combustible substance. CONSTITUTION:Dried sludge is fed from a shoot 27 into a crushing chamber 30 of a crushing machine 4. The sludge is scraped up by a plough 29 and fed into a part between a rotating roller 21 and a ring 20. The sludge of degree of particle or a predetermined value or less is passed through grids of rostrum 22 and discharged to a discharging passage 28. The crushed sludge passes through a discharging shoot 31 and is sent to a crushed sludge storing tank 5. A specified amount of sludge is sent to a swirl type incineration and melting furnace 8, combusted and melted there and becomes slag. A rostrum type roller mill is applied in the crushing machine 4 and the satisfactory crushed sludge can be attained when the sludge is combusted and melted in the swirl type incineration melting furnace 8.
