Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily ground a scanner provided with a polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:A conductive contact member 30 which is connected in a conductive state to the scanner 14 provided with the polygon mirror 10 is projected toward a base 31 from an optical scanning body 2, the base 31 is provided with an elastic grounded member which has conductivity and elasticity, and the contact member 30 is so positioned that when the optical scanning body 2 is fitted to the base 31, the contact member 30 abuts on the elastic contact body 32. Electric charges accumulated in the polygon mirror 10 are supplied through the elastic contact body 32 from the contact member 30 to discharge the polygon mirror 10 electrostatically.
