PURPOSE: To provide a portable case which is excellent in shock resistance, and operational efficiency at the time of storing and taking out articles.

CONSTITUTION: This portable case comprises a main body part 1 where a first flange part 2 is formed on the opening edge part, and a cover part 8 where a second flange part 9 opposite to the first flange part 2 is formed on the opening edge part, and is used in the united condition of the cover part 8 and the main body part 1 and in the open condition thereof. The case further comprises plural locking parts 6 provided on the first flange part 2, a plate-like base part 12 having locked parts 13 locked at the locking parts 6 and article storing parts 14, 15 formed in such a manner as to separate for a designated distance from the surface and back surface sides of an opening hole part of the plate-like base part 12 and from the base parts of the respective receptacle parts of the main body part 1 and the cover part 8, wherein in the united condition, the plate-like base part 12 is held between the first and second flange parts.
