Title:
VARIABLE RESISTANCE SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3025053
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a switch for energizing and controlling a small motor by which operation is started by continuous closing of a contact point and resistance in a motor control circuit is changed thereafter and to perform this operation procedure by impression of continuous constant force.
CONSTITUTION: First and second flexible contact point arms which are capable or respectively engaging with a pair of cam-followers, are provided, and the cam-followers are successively operated by an actuator 16, movable in a first direction and the opposite direction. The actuator 16 also has a wiper 30, integrally movable on a variable resistance 32, connected to a terminal. The first contact point arm is operated by an initial movement of the actuator 16 in the first direction and closes a first circuit through a corresponding switch, a second contact point arm is operated by a further movement of the actuator 16 along the first direction and closes a second circuit through a corresponding switch, and the variable resistance is incorporated into the circuit between one contact point arm and the terminal.
